Interiors

The interior and exterior common areas of THE HAWTHORNE were brought to life by acclaimed Rottet Studio's founding principal, Lauren Rottet - one of the world's most celebrated interior architects who has earned awards, publications, lectures, juries, and honors. As the first woman in history to be elevated to Fellow status by both the American Institute of Architects and International Interior Design Association, Ms. Rottet also held the coveted titles of Interior Design Magazine Hall of Fame and Interiors magazine (now Contract magazine) Designer of the Year. Based in Houston, the firm had offices in Los Angeles, New York, and a presence in Shanghai.

Ms. Rottet and her team seamlessly integrated THE HAWTHORNE into Tanglewood with an evergreen approach, giving the building a look and feel that particularly resonated with longtime neighborhood dwellers. All in all, Ms. Rottet's distinct design approach reflected her commitment to improving the human experience through the built environment, and her evergreen vision for THE HAWTHORNE was no exception.
